Is Facebook Questions a Gamechanger?
Facebook recently rolled out a new product, Facebook Questions. The product is being tested on 1 million or so users in beta before it goes live, likely in the next few weeks, to Facebook's entire 500 million+ user base. Essentially, the product mirrors several existing ones, such as Quora, Yahoo Answers and LinkedIn Answers. But with a user base of 500 million+ people around the world, and more important, an understanding of the social graph and people's relationships with one another, we believe Facebook Questions has the potential to change the way people think about search marketing. Twitter Hits 20 Billion Tweets!
Facebook may be the biggest social media player in town but it's certainly not the only one. While Facebook boasts 500 million users, Twitter is still generating A LOT of content. This past weekend, Twitter hit 20 billion tweets (according to the tracking service GigaTweet, whose numbers, though unofficial, are pretty accurate).
