Announcement of the Top 60 Twitter Profiles for
Business, Picked by theKbuzz Staff
Last month, we asked you to submit your favorite Twitter Profiles
for Business. We looked for small businesses and nonprofit organizations, who
use Twitter well to connect to audiences. Our criteria included design of profile background, interactivity
of account, number of followers, and innovative and effective uses of Twitter.
We planned on publishing a Top 40, but we heard from so many you, and found so
many great Twitter profiles on our own, that we decided to announce a Top 60
instead. The list features restaurants, hotels, airports, car washes, bars,

Social Media Video Goes Viral
Statistics prove that social media is bigger than you (or your
boss) may think. The "Social Media Revolution" video, released on YouTube by
Socialnomics less than 1 month ago, has already been seen over 130,000 times.
The creative video includes a wide variety of statistics, set to music, that
taken together are quite powerful. If you haven't seen the video yet, it's definitely
worth a look, and if you are still trying to convince your boss or partner of
the value of social media marketing, you might want to gather them together to
watch too. Enjoy the video here.
New
Facebook Search; What it May Mean for You
Last week, Facebook bought Friendfeed, and released a newer, much more robust
search feature that allows you to search posts by your friends and as "posts by
everyone" for particular keywords or phrases. There are profound implications
of this new search- in effect, it could serve as a Twitter killer. Even if
Twitter continues to grow, there is no doubt that marketers can take advantage
of the new search, to find people and groups talking about their companies,
competitors and industry on the world's largest social network. Read more
