If you haven't read about ortho-bionomy yet, click the link under the "links" at the top of the newsletter. The workshop by Mary Santello, a wonderful orthobionomist, is coming up July 18, is definitely worth attending. Kim and Kelli were treated to a sample class last week and were amazed at the subtle yet obvious changes we were able to make in our necks without props or complicated instructions.

Greetings!
We hope you are enjoying your summer so far! Here at the studio we've been busy with new classes, workshops and our instructor training program. The ortho-bionomy workshop series for people who want to learn how to self correct, is coming in July see details below. We also have a fantastic yoga workshop planned- details to come. Kelli and Renee completed weekend one of "Pilates Mat for the Fitness Professional" the training program we've created to teach our style of mat Pilates to other teachers. It was a great success and we are ready for weekend two in July. If there is anything we can do to make your summer experience better at Evolve please don't hesitate to let us know. See you in the studio!

| A recognition from someone thankful... |
Throughout this first pregnancy ordeal, I've had doctors and their staff, people from my birthing class, midwives and many others warn me of all the "horror stories" people love to tell pregnant women about birth, labor and raising kids. "Don't listen to others' negative experience or what they remember, most of it is an exageration, and it doesn't mean it will happen to you." is the most common advice I've recieved. My reaction is always the same, "ok, sure, I won't listen to others". This really got me thinking; I haven't had a negative experience and I've enjoyed the stories and advice I've been told.
I started to notice the environment where I spend most of my time... Evolve Pilates. I'm surrounded by an amazing group of strong women and supportive men who throughout my pregnancy have done nothing but encourage me and bring me peace. I haven't been surrounded by empty advice and negative stories, rather incredible experiences about the amazement of child birth and motherhood from strong, loving mothers. We've laughed at fun filled jokes and funny stories about what to expect. I've felt respected and trusted in my decision to give birth at home, where many of my friends have been ridiculed.
It made me realize that this "Evolve Pilates" we all know and love is so much more than just a place to exercise. Its a family. Its a place of support and encouragement. Its a place to find strength; physically, emotionally and mentally. As the end of this pregnancy adventure approaches, and I prepare for the new adventure of actually raising this little boy, I would like to personally thank my Evolve family for all the strength that you have given back to me, and I can't wait to have all you meet our new member.
With much appreciation,
Kelli
