FABRIC EXCHANGE
| Pretty Fair Miss | |
Thanks to all of the folks who have continued to send fabric in the mail and bring it to shows! We had such a wonderful time bringing this little experiment to our fans.
We have received so much wonderful fabric that I am considering making two quilts and raffling one off next year for charity. We are looking into some charities that are close to our hearts and hope to announce something about that in a later newsletter. We have until November 8 to collect all of the fabric for the Trip Around the World Quilt. The first showing of the quilt will be at our concert at the TurtleDove Folk Club on November 20, the day after my five day quilt class at the John C Campbell Folk School!

TOUR UPDATE!!!
| Northeast Date Added for November!
|
We've just added a lovely concert in West Grove, Pennsylvania on Saturday, November 20, at the TurtleDove Folk Club!
Since this is the farthest north in the USA that we'll be heading
this year, we hope that we'll see some of our North Country friends in
November. What a Thanksgiving that will be!

An unexpected guest at our Hardscrabble House Concert in Westcliffe, CO. | Concerts in San Francisco, Paso Robles, and Las Cruces . . .
Hello out there! Just a quick note here to mention that we have a couple of new concerts on the calendar for our Way Out West Tour.
We are very excited to be playing in Larkspur in the San Francisco Bay area at the home of songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire, Stevie Coyle. Anyone who wants to come is welcome, but it would be a great idea to let Stevie know and get some good recommendations about parking from him at stevie@steviecoyle.com. Friday, September 24 at 8 pm. Might want to get there by 7:30 to grab a good seat and settle in.
We've also added a concert at Matt's Music in Paso Robles. Matt has a wonderful place and puts on concerts from time to time. We are so happy that he's put us on his calendar and we hope you'll show him it was a super idea by coming out for a nice Sunday evening show. Sunday, September 26, at 5 pm. Doors open at 4:30.
Finally, we have moved our Las Alturas house concert in Las Cruces, NM from Friday to Sunday, October 10, at 7 pm. After crossing the Mojave Desert once with Airstream in tow, we question our sanity in crossing it twice more in October, but the lure of my (Jeni's) former home is too much. It was in middle school in Las Cruces that I really started writing poetry in earnest and imagining where it might take me!
There is some chance that we will be giving a concert in Northwest New Mexico just outside the Navajo Nation just after Columbus Day, so stay tuned to our website for info on that!
Lastly, there are lots of chances to see us out here in the west and if you don't live out here, but know folks who do, we hope you'll consider sending them our way. It would be great to see a lot of friendly faces in the audience and have that many reasons and more to return in spring of 2012!
