In an era where millions of brands are fighting to remain top of mind, it is important that your brands' ads stand out in one way or another. When considering print advertising, most advertisers choose the traditional formats that for many years have given and continue to give a great response. From time to time it is recommended to throw a curve ball at the readers; a tactic that can be mentally processed as part of the publication's copy or creative instead of as advertisement.

In the Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising, 2007 by Mats Edenius & Michael Dahl, "the authors hypothesize that compared to placement in a traditional advertising medium, placement in a non-traditional medium increases credibility and attitude towards the advertised message".

The site is in three languages: Portuguese, Spanish, and English and it consist of world-known chain hotels like Starwood, Sheraton, RIU, and Marriott hotels just to mention a few. Indeed, Clickhoteles.com has a similar business model to that of Hotels.com in the U.S. The website has built relationships and partnerships with many global brands offering a mutually beneficial union.

Jose Luis Ferrari, a representative of Clickhoteles.com states, "the website does not sell flights as our relationship with the airlines is through partnerships, where they use our booking engine on their web pages, so that they can provide more services to its visitors. We have this kind of partnership with Clarin, GOL, UOL, Lan Chile, Aerolineas Argentinas, Web Jet, among others."
