The forecast is perfect for this weekend's River Fest and Upper Kennebec Outdoor Expo in downtown Skowhegan. There will be concerts, raffles, demonstrations and free family fun activities Friday through Sunday.

Friday, June 25, 2010, Live at the Skowhegan Opera House: Aztec Two Step w/Emilia Dahlin. Don't miss this renowned acoustic duo perform their own original songs and a set from the Simon and Garfunkel songbook that gets the audience singing along. Emilia Dahlin, who was voted Portland's best female vocalist three years in a row, will open. Tickets are $16, $18 in advance, $22 and $25 at the door.
Rustic Overtones | On Saturday evening, under the River Fest Event Tent, Maine's most popular independent rock band, Rustic Overtones, will play. Tickets for this event are only $5.00 and proceeds will go to the Run of River Project and Main Street Skowhegan.
