Typical
applications for piezo cylinders (tubes) include fiber optics, scanning
electron microscopes, actuators, hydrophones and sensors. APCI has the
capability to be both your standard cylinder supplier and your custom
cylinder design partner. Our stock cylinders are made of Type II
ceramic, although cylinders can be made out of APCI's other materials
should the need arise. In addition, shapes related to cylinders - such as curved plates - can also be accommodated.

Conference Presentation
Ian Henderson, President of APCI, and Sergej Zhukov, APCI's representative in Russia, will be attending and presenting at the The 7th International Conference: Innovations In Piezoelectric Instrument Engineering and Nanotechnology. The conference will take place in Anapa, Russia during September 20-24, 2010. The conference leader is NKTB Piezopribor. Both Mr. Henderson and Mr. Zhukov will be available for consultations after the presentation.
APCI Names New Member of Management
Alexander Henderson - Vice President of Strategy: Alexander Henderson joined APCI in July of
2010 as the company's new Vice President of Strategy. In his role, Henderson will be responsible for
strategic planning, new marketing initiatives, and change management. Henderson recently completed his MBA at
Georgetown's McDonough School of Business where he concentrated in Strategy,
Marketing, and Operations. Prior
to attending business school at Georgetown, Henderson worked as APCI's Manager
of Business Operations during which time he was responsible for a number of
positive change initiatives and for managing general business operations at
APCI. Henderson graduated from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College as a
Schreyer Scholar in 2006 with degrees in Political Science and Economics. We are pleased to welcome Henderson back to APCI and anticipate that his
previous experience with APCI along with his background in strategic planning
will enhance APCI's ability to respond to changing market conditions and
customer needs.
