APCI on Georgetown University Operations Day Panel
Ian Henderson, President of APCI, participated in a panel discussion held at Georgetown University on January 15th, 2010. The event was organized and sponsored by the Georgetown Operations Association of the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.Keynote speakers included Katherine McGrady, PhD, COO of CNA and Matt Korn, Former EVP of Network and Data Center Operations for AOL. Additional panelists hailed from Wal-Mart, Northrop Grumman, MedImmune - a subsidiary of AstraZeneca, Black & Decker, Freddie Mac, DaVita and Vanguard.The panelists discussed and answered questions regarding company wide operations, operations functions, and the overall role of operations in business success.
