Dr. Ber Boris Kotlerman of Bar-Ilan University
will be speaking IN YIDDISH on the topic of his recently published book:

In Search of Milk and Honey:
Yiddish Theater in Birobidzhan

Ber Boris Kolterman was born in Irkutsk in Eastern Siberia and grew up in Birobidzhan. Since 2004 he has been a senior lecturer in the Judaica faculty of Bar-Ilan University and a professor of Yiddish Studies. In 2007 he founded the Far Eastern Research center for Jewish Culture and Yiddish which has already conducted two international summer programs in Yiddish.
