The summer has kicked off in Connemara when you see all the events and festival rolling around again - here's some of the events to watch out for over the next few weeks:
Connemara Mussel Festival
May 4th to 6th, Renvyle
Over the May Bank Holiday weekend don't miss this festival now in its seventh year. Enjoy music, mussel cooking competitions, walks, talks and much more. See the official website here. Check out our nearby Renvyle or Letterfrack cottages.
Féile Chomortha Joe Éinniú - (Joe Heaney Commemorative Festival)
May 4th to 7th, Carna
This is an annual commemorative festival of traditional Irish singing and music which takes place in Carna. Read more about it here and stay nearby in one of our handpicked cottages in Maam, Carna, Cashel or Rosmuc.
Connemara Bog Week
May 25th to 24th June, Letterfrack
This festival is a celebration of all that is magical about the Connemara landscape and takes place at the end of May each year. Stay up to date about this annual festival here. Stay in one or our Letterfrack, Renvyle or Moyard cottages to enjoy this festival.

Connemara Rough Diamond Adventure Race

Another sure thing on the Connemara calendar is this now, very popular adventure race. For the more physical among you, they've added a new 'Introduction Category'.
