Clifden - 200 years old in 2012 |
Clifden is 200! - Events throughout 2012
Clifden celebrates its 200th Birthday in 2012. The year will be marked with a series of events in the town starting with a Railway Heritage Weekend running from 17th-19th Feb 2012. In May, there'll be a weeklong festival with talks, walks, documentaries, street theatre and a street party just to mention some of the events. Join the celebration!

Tar éis na Féile Bríde - 3rd to 5th February 2012
This annual weekend festival in Letterfrack offers a weekend of concerts, music sessoins workshops, pub gigs, exhibitions and much more. This festival is in in third year now and is proving very popular. The festival showcases the finest in local and national talent in Irish music, song and dance.
