| Kate Cohen Joins the Private Prep Team |
|
We are excited to announce Kate Cohen as the newest addition to the Private Prep team. Currently finishing her last semester at the University of Delaware, Kate began her work with Private Prep this past winter as an intern at our New York City office. In her role as Assistant Director, Kate will take the lead in several initiatives to enhance the personal service that is at the heart of our success.
Kate comes to us with a background in tutoring and a passion for educating others. Tutoring since high school school, Kate has experience helping students in a variety of subjects, including all three romance languages, English writing and comprehension, elementary math and reading. Kate's enthusiasm for inspiring others extends beyond academics and into the yoga studio, where she has devoted the past 3 years to teaching and motivating her fellow students.
As we continue our growth in the New York metro area and forge new partnerships that will strengthen the service we offer, our mission remains to provide personal educational support to the families we work with, while staying in touch with their ever changing needs and expectations. Kate joins our team as we seek new ways to communicate and reach out to our families and the greater education community. As part of her new role, Kate will launch an initiative on Facebook, increase and share a greater breadth of research into the latest in education and solicit feedback from our parents and students.
We hope you are as excited as we are to welcome Kate to Private Prep!

After all, colleges just see a number on the standardized test component of the college application.
While there is no denying the fact that the SAT and ACT are about a number at the end of the day, the key to improving those scores is all about a process of change. |

The thaw has begun and the warmer weather is on its way! With midterms behind us, our focus begins to shift to improving grades and preparation for upcoming standardized tests.
