New Dashboard System Provides Additional Support
|
|
Earlier this month we released a new interactive system to help our parents, students and academic coaches to simplify communications, provide access to vital support information, monitor each student's progress, and offer online resources to supplement the student's tutoring and test prep experience. "We are excited about the launch of our new dashboard system to our parents, students and tutors. It is a terrific organizational tool, designed to streamline our relationships externally with our families and internally with our academic coaches," said Scott Levenson, the Executive Director of Private Prep. The dashboard system is another example of our goal to be a leading company in the field of education. We evaluate every opportunity to make tutoring and test prep easily accessible to the people we work with. This way, students feel supported and can focus on enjoying their educational experience while using their study sessions to their full advantage. Steve Feldman, the Founder and Educational Director, said, "This new system will help our parents stay in the loop about what has been covered in their child's lessons, track performance, and stay up to date on the Private Prep Points they have accrued as part of our new rewards program. Our students will now be able to access information about homework assignments and download useful resources created by Private Prep. For our tutors, they will now have another means of communicating and scheduling with our families."
We are excited to see our work of over a year developing the dashboard system become a reality! |
Blog: NYT Article on Study Habits
|
There was a time when the common wisdom about study habits was
centered around one consistent, quiet workspace. For many people, that
time may have been as recently as this week. But in today's world,
where even elementary school students need a date book to keep their
appointments straight, that isn't always realistic. But here's the good
news: that model might not be the most practical, either.
A recent New York Times article
supports with scientific evidence what we as tutors have found to be
anecdotally true for some time: studying should be a mobile habit.
