Hello! It's June! Summer is almost here (ice cream eating time!) and my new book is almost here too!
Due to some printing complications, WHERE THE MOUNTAIN MEETS THE MOON will be released to the general public on July 1st. Thanks to those who were able to make it to the bookstore (pre)launch! Now it's time to celebrate the REAL release, at the virtual launch party! You're coming aren't you?

 Nice Accolades

Where the Mountain Meets the Moon has not even been officially released yet but it has already received some nice news: 3 starred reviews (Kirkus, Booklist, and School Library Journal), a Top 10 SF/Fantasy for Youth: 2009, and a 2009 Parents' Choice Gold Award!
The Year of the Dog continues to garner attention as well. It is a part of the Sunshine State Young Readers Award Program of 2009-2010 and a Maud Hart Lovelace Award 2009-2010 nominee (MN state).
And,lastly, The Year of the Rat is a part of B&N Summer Reading program. If you read 8 books, you can get The Year of the Rat for free!
