Muscle Pump + Size + Strength Intensifying Supplement

 

Available in both a tablet form and as a lemon-flavored drink mix, Muscle Synergy is used by natural physique athletes who are striving to achieve more dramatic muscle pumps and maximize exercise-induced gains in muscle size and strength. Clinical research shows that key ingredients in this formula also offer protection against muscle size and strength losses associated with aging. Distinguishing features of Muscle Synergy include:

 

  • Clinical doses of HMB and creatine, a combination shown to enhance lean (muscle) size and strength in clinical research (1).
  • Over 8500 mg total of arginine + citrulline to support healthy nitric oxide (NO) levels, vasodilation and blood flow.

For maximum results, athletes may wish to use Muscle Synergy as follows:

  • Powder:

Creatine Loading + Maintenance Supplement

Creatine Select is an ultra-premium formula used by natural physique athletes to load and maintain muscle creatine levels, which studies suggest promotes greater gains in lean (muscle) mass and performance. Distinguishing features of Creatine Select include:

  • 6000 mg total of creatine monohydrate (CM) + phosphates. In clinical research, this combination produced greater improvements in anaerobic exercise performance than creatine alone (2). CM is the most bioavailable and scientifically proven form of creatine available.
  • 1000 mg of beta-alanine: For additional support of high-intensity exercise performance.

  • To load: Mix 1 scoop with 8 oz of water and drink, 4 times daily (4 scoops total). Loading promotes faster gains in lean mass and performance.
  • To maintain: Take 1 scoop daily.

 

Muscle Mass

Branched-Chain Amino Acid (BCAA) Supplement

Muscle Mass is used by natural physique athletes to promote lean (muscle) mass and recovery from exercise. It contains the BCAAs leucine, isoleucine and valine. For maximum results, athletes may wish to use Muscle Mass as follows:

  • For overall physical performance*: Take 5 tablets with your pre-workout and post-workout meals (10 tablets total).
  • When preparing for physique competition: Take 10 tablets upon arising and with your pre-workout meal (20 tablets total).
  • When trying to gain lean mass*: Take a total of 1 tablet per 10 lb of body weight during your workout (e.g. 18 tablets for a 180-lb athlete). Divide your allotment of tablets into smaller doses (e.g. 4-5 tablets per dose). Take 1 dose every 10-15 minutes during your workout.

Women: Use Beverly proteins to build muscle and bone while losing weight!

 

McMaster University in Canada is known for its research on dairy proteins, particularly whey. We've cited their studies in previous issues of this newsletter. Recently, McMaster published a study showing that consuming dairy proteins like those found in Beverly Muscle Provider and UMP may help prevent your bones from wasting away while you lose weight.

 

The lead author of the study, Stu Phillips, PhD, stated "Our data provide further rationale to recommend consumption of dairy foods to aid in 'high quality' weight loss, which we defined as loss of fat and sparing of muscle, and the promotion of bone health in young women."

 

Subjects in the McMaster study who consumed marginally adequate amounts of protein without dairy foods showed markedly elevated levels of markers of bone loss.
