In an effort to better communicate website screen shotwith current parents, we are very excited to launch our new website.

The new site provides current parents with information on class schedules, events and activities, food services and much more. We encourage all parents to review the new site. If there is anything missing that you feel would be helpful to all parents, please e-mail info@ventaprep.com.

For prospective parents and current parents looking to refer Venta to a friend or family member, the new site allows for easy inquiries, as well as to quickly download the new Venta Brochure or
Application Package.

We hope you enjoy the new site!
Student Pick-up/Sign Out Reminder
clockThe teaching staff and administration at Venta would like to remind all parents of the signing in/out procedures for all students.

J2 and J3 (4pm-5pm Pickups)

Any parent picking up a student in J2 or J3 during the supervised activity time (4pm-5pm) can meet their child on the playground if the class is outside.

If the class is not outside, the parent must meet the child in the J2 or J3 classroom. The main office will not page a J2 or J3 student to meet a parent during this time.

All Students Pick up/Late Arrivals

Any parent picking up their student outside of normal pick up  (between 5:00pm and 5:30pm) or dropping off times (between 8:00am and 8:30am) for whatever reason, are required to sign them in or out in the main office. This ensures that all students are accounted for and that attendance is strictly monitored.

Uniform/Code of Conduct Reminder
As we have begun a new school year itBlazer is important for all parents to review with their children Venta's expectations in terms of uniform, hair, and make-up. The Venta staff will be diligent in addressing any students who are not meeting these expectation and in doing so disregarding the school's code of conduct.

We ask that you review the mandatory uniform list, as well as the code of conduct for more information.

If you require any further information or clarification, I am more than happy to assist at mmansfield@ventaprep.com.

Duke of Edinburgh Parent Information Night
Duke of Ed

The Duke of Edinburgh award is an International Award that equips young people with life skills to make a difference to themselves, their communities and the world. To date almost 6 million young people from over 120 countries have participated in this programme.

The Award combines service, adventure and new skills for students 14 years and older. Our Grade 9 and 10 students have the chance to show personal initiative and independence. To achieve the award the students must set goals in the 4 programme areas of: Community Service, Personal Skills Development, Physical Fitness and Adventurous Journey.

As part of the senior program Venta grade nine and ten students take part in this exciting opportunity. To inform our current parents about the Duke of Edinburgh program, Mr. Spratt will be hosting an information night on Wednesday September 15th at 5pm.

We hope you can join us for this fantastic event. For more information, please contact Mike Spratt at mspratt@ventaprep.com.
