Intramural Programme - Message from Mr. McDonald:
I am writing to inform you about some changes we are making to the Intramural programme.

Since 1998 the Intramural Programme has been an important part of Venta's culture.  When alumni come back to the school, one of the first things they ask is how their "house" is doing this year!

Recently however,  there have been new opportunities for our students in the form of the running club, track and field events and lunch hour sporting activities.

Our Intramural programme is still an important and valued part of our curriculum, however, it has been decided to cut down on the number of hours dedicated to it.  Instead of having a full afternoon( or sometimes more) of Intramurals we are going to limit ourselves to just under 2 hours.  This will still allow us to have championship, consolation and staff vs. student games, but it will not take an entire afternoon.

We will achieve all the good things that Intramurals has to offer as well as participate in other new and exciting endeavours the school is starting up.

I still ask that parents do not view Intramural days as "days off" or days to leave early.  The House Captains and reps work hard to organize the activities and we want everyone to be here  to experience the fun or at the very least support their house.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about our Intramural programme.
