Buffalo Niagara at Bio International [Booth #3317]
| |

BNE is proud to once again partner with three fantastic local institutions in exhibiting at the BIO International Convention later this month in Boston, MA. Since 2010, the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and the Life Sciences (CoE), the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC), Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI), and Buffalo Niagara Enterprise (BNE) have leveraged one another's strengths to present the Buffalo Niagara life sciences assets at the world's largest gathering of the biotechnology industry.
"The BIO International Convention is our most important source of quality commercial leads for our intellectual property in the area of cancer therapeutics. To date, over 50% of Roswell Park's U.S. patents and 70% our international patents have been licensed - the majority though lead generation at the Buffalo Niagara exhibit." Richard Matner, PhD - Director of Technology Transfer and Commercial Development, Roswell Park Cancer Institute

Working on the BNMC: Ellicott Park
| |
Ellicott Park, still under construction, is beginning to take shape as a unique environment promoting a safe and walkable public space to be enjoyed by patients, visitors, students, neighbors, and employees on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. This linear 3,300' park includes forking paths, islands, and plazas. It also has banded concrete, illuminated benches, a diverse planting scheme, and signature lighting - a leading example of what a community space should look like.
