ABOUT SAINT PATRICK
Many folk ask the question 'Why is the Shamrock the National Flower of Ireland? The reason is that St. Patrick used it to explain the Holy Trinity to the pagans. Saint Patrick is believed to have been born in the late fourth century, and is often confused with Palladius, a bishop who was sent by Pope Celestine in 431 to be the first bishop to the Irish believers in Christ.
Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami
We send our sympathy and condolences to all those effected in Japan and know what the people of Japan are going through. The terrible Japanese tsunami which quickly followed the earthquake this week has brought back the bad memories of the tsunami which struck Phuket and Thailand on that fateful morning December 26th 2004.
It took a year or more for tourism to return to normal and there was much inaccurate reporting by all international media on the so called devastation on Phuket Island, where most sea front hotels, shops, restaurants were back in business by the following December or before. As a real estate company we did not lose one property!

The world's climate and seasons are changing as we have seen over the last year or so and Phuket http://www.siamvillarentals.com/seasons-weather had the wettest January on record this year.
Phuket and Thailand is probably one of the safest places in the world to live or visit regardless of acts of nature or terrorism. It is safe to walk the streets for anyone at night and long may it continue.
Our thoughts go out to those effected in Japan.
