The monsoon rains have subsided and it has been a particularly rainy time from last week in August until this last week which is unusual to have such a sustained period of rain although it was sporadic. We are back to average temperatures of 30 degrees every day and if you play golf it is very pleasant.
The high season is here and reports from TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand) say that tourism will be down this year over the high season by 10-20% which remains to be seen. Our holiday rental bookings are up on last year but this could be due to our growing selection of high quality holiday rentals.
The economic gloom seems to be lifting and we are seeing more buyers than we have all year and sales of new and resale property have picked up in earnest.
We continue to build our stocks of both long term and holiday rentals and now boast more than any real estate agent in Thailand offering you the best choice available.
