FROM THE DIRECTOR
Hi everyone,
I had the opportunity to visit several of our members last week that I was not assigned to for the "Visitation Day? Lisa Crapelli the owner of Johnny Millionaire, on Main Street in Norway, Art Gouin and daughter Lesley at Pikes Clothiers, just up the street and then across the way to see Erica Jedd at Books N' Things. Business is up and down but all three have had good Summers and are looking forward to Fall and the holidays! I found some unique pieces of antiquity at Lisa's shop, a terrific selection of shirts, pants, and TUXEDOES at Pikes and I bought a book at Erica's shop called "A Dog's Purpose", currently on the New York Times Best-Seller list-stop by when your in the area and tell them you appreciate them and, of course, always shop locally!
The very first OXFORD HILLS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE B2B is coming and you already received our Eblast highlighting this exciting new event. It's all about "Business Networking" and is scheduled for Friday, October 21st. You can choose from one of the many sponsor levels and/or register your business! Sue Goulet will handle Project Management for this event and we are thrilled to provide this new and unique event to the communities we service and represent. And the theme of this year's Christmas Parade has been announced. Drum roll please! "OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS". You can also go online and read all about Maine's largest Christmas Parade and download a registration form as well. Coming right up all the details about the "first Ever" Festival of Trees here in the Oxford Hills!
