Romans 8:37 NLT
Paul provided a list of some of "these things" in the previous verse. Some currently apply to us, others not as much:
- trouble- yes
- hardship -yes
- persecution -minimal
- famine -no
- nakedness -thankfully, no
- danger -slight
- sword -no
However, we can all make our own lists of "these things". For some, it might be family problems. Others might have financial struggles or health issues. Some are facing an uncertain future.
It is so good to know that God's promises are still valid, regardless of our own version of "these things"! Here in Romania, we are facing many things that are unknown to us, but they are
fully known to God. He is not afraid, wavering, or questioning what to do. He has a plan...and He knows how to bring about the results He wants. We are striving to stay in step with Him and trust that, as we step out in faith, His provision will be available for every need.
I mentioned last month that God has opened some new doors of opportunity for us to participate in the building of His kingdom. For some time, we have been praying for God to provide Romanian partners that we can collaborate with for His glory. We are pleased to announce that God has answered this prayer! Beginning in the fall, we will we will be partnering with Mimi Gatea, our dear friend and co-worker in ministry. God has given Mimi a vision for a rescue home for destitute women. We will be joining Mimi in establishing this ministry that God has placed in her heart. The need for such a ministry is v

ery great, and we are excited to be a part of what God has in His heart for the restoration of many hopeless women of Romania. Whether they may be abused, homeless, adult orphans, prostitutes, or in other dire situations, we know that the Father's heart is for them to be reconciled to Him.
Please join us in praying for God's provision and direction as we work to glorify God and make Jesus know through this ministry. Preparations are being made for Alexandra's transition to her new family. This family will come to Romania around the middle of August (they are Romanians living in Germany) and there will be a lot of paperwork to

handle at this time. We are hopeful and prayerful, however, that God will do everything necessary for this precious little girl to be placed very soon with the family He has chosen for her.
Leslie returned from the US on Friday after being with her family during the loss of her little nephew. Your continued prayers for the family are very appreciated.
A note from Leslie:
Thank you so much for your outpouring of love, prayers, and concern during this time of loss of my precious nephew Luke. I know many of you had been praying for him and for my family over the months of his illness as well. The Lord has shown His love and compassion through many who have reached out to be a blessing to us during this difficult time. The knowledge of the reality that our little Luke is now with Jesus, completely healed and full of joy,is such a comfort. I ask for your continued prayers for my sister and brother-in-law during the months to come.
Thank you all for your love, words of encouragement, generosity, prayers, and all the other wonderful things you do to make this ministry possible. We appreciate you!
