Sometimes words are so inadequate to express the feelings of the heart. If you could only meet them...the adult orphans with no hope for the future...you would feel it, too. You would feel the cry of their hearts and the incredible sadness and fear that is their daily experience. It seems so odd for an adult to continually search for someone to replace the mother they never knew. After all, they are adults now. But the deep needs of the heart do not respond to common sense.
As we continue to seek the Lord concerning the best way to meet the needs of these young people, our hearts continue to break. There seems to be no end to the abuse, rejection, and search for acceptance and love. How can they go on? There must be an answer to the pain and suffering. May the God who created them give us direction in healing them. We covet your prayers as we wait upon the Lord and seek to walk through the doors that He opens.
The video below is from a recent outreach in Braila, Romania. All of these young people are homeless, most without jobs, education, or any family support. Each one is an easy target for human trafficking. For us, waiting for God's plan to develop is so difficult. However, we know that God is not ignoring their needs, rather He is planning their futures.
Thank you for helping us to continue the work with these precious ones. There is only one Love that can heal their hurts, and you make it possible for us to extend the hand of God to them. We couldn't do it without you!
