Special prayer request
You may remember the prayer request last month for Cristina, our adult orphan friend who was diagnosed with appendicitis and underwent surgery. She has recovered well physically and is growing spiritually by leaps and bounds. On Saturday, we took another adult orphan, Aurel, to the hospital for treatment on his leg, which was injured a few weeks ago. The infection is severe and he had not received proper treatment due to his financial and social status. Please pray for Aurel's physical healing and understanding of God's great love and plan for his life.

Greetings!
Hello from beautiful Romania! We have been so blessed in recent weeks to see some of the
most beautiful scenery that Romania
has to offer. Beautiful mountains, crystal clear streams, beautiful ocean- all
are reflections of their Creator! What an incredible artist is our God!

We were so happy
to have a team from First fruits Christian Fellowship (Stephanie's home church
in TX) with us this month. We traveled across the country as these ladies met
with other women to encourage them in their faith. Regardless of the language
spoken, many issues are the same. Many women in Romania
were blessed as these Texas
girls , along with our dear friend, Claudia, shared from their hearts about what the Lord has done in their lives. We, also,
were blessed to have such good friends with us for this time. Thanks to all who
made this trip possible for them. It was a great blessing to us, also! As you can see, we had a great time. Just
having friends from home here was a real treat for us. During this short-term trip, many lives were changed. The man in this photo trusted Jesus. Many were encouraged. I know that there were significant changes, also, in the lives of these women who stepped out of their comfort zones and came to Romania to be a blessing. You girls did a great job! |
Another highlight
of this month was our tim e spent with the women from Ocna Mures (the town where we
helped to develop the program for the elderly) at a ladies retreat in the
mountains. It was wonderful to be with friends and enjoy some time together.
Many ladies were encouraged by the Word of God and all enjoyed delightful
weather and incredibl e scenery.
It certainly does us all good to get our of "the norm" for a while and see something new. For some, it was their first trip to the mountains, though they live only a few hours away. It was such a joy to watch these women as they delighted over God's creation and enjoyed wonderful fellowship with the Lord and each other. May the Lord continue to encourage these ladies and use them to be light to those around them.

As we have previously shared with you, we have been seeking
the Lord about His plans for us next year. We really felt that the Lord called
us to a time of rest in order to give us His instruction for the year to come.
As we enjoyed the presence of the Lord and the beauty of His creation this
month, we feel that He has given us instruction. We will share next month about some exciting plans. Stay tuned!
Thanks for all you do to bring God's love to hurting people. Together, we are making a difference!
Going for Him,
Stephanie and Leslie
