The Changing of a Life

This month we would like to introduce you to Doina Vasile and share with you how God has changed her life through you.
We first met Doina in March, 2006. She was alone, sick, and obviously disinterested as we stood in her apartment in Ocna Mures. A friend wanted us to meet her but we were unsure if Doina was pleased with this idea. She appeared to be more interested in our departure. This small woman coughed and seemed very weak, sometimes stumbling as she walked. Our first visit was short and we were relieved. She clearly was not comfortable with us being there. However, it was clear that this was the type of person that we wanted to meet; old, alone, sick, afraid, and hopeless. Though the first visit was less than warm and hospitable, we knew that we had to go again.
It did not take too long for Doina to begin to trust us and open her heart to us, and even more importantly, to God. Soon, we were able to begin bringing her hot meals. This was a great help to her since her only source of heat was a cinder block with an electric coil connected to some frayed wires. This served as her heater and stove.
As our relationship with Doina continued, God provided her with so many blessings. God's love and concern for her became so clear. Doina's life has been changed by God's great mercy and this mercy was put on display by our amazing partners. |

How to Change a Life
 You can be a part of God's answer to the hurting, lost, and dying people of the world. If you want to change a life, God is ready to help you. Begin by asking God to break your heart for those who are broken. Ask Him to give youeyes to see them, ears to hear to hear their cries and

a heart that aches for them. Only then can God give you a passion for the people about whom He is passionate and compassion becomes your motivation, Let's be moved by compassion, just as Jesus was moved by compassion. See Matt 14:14, Luke 7:13.
