The Gift that Keeps on Giving!
It's tough being a man and a father today. It feels like you give and work and struggle, but there's never enough of you to go around. The pressures are unrelenting. And yet, you are so important that you are nearly irreplaceable in the lives of your children. Fatherhood is a privilege given by God, and with that privilege comes the power to impact lives. Exercised responsibly for good, that power can lead to God's blessing on you and your family.
Privilege, power, responsibility, sacrifice-- they're all part of the same package. They all belong to a father. So be a man. Stand Tall. Give your children an example of healthy masculinity that will survive down through the generations.

Rick,
I just recently read "The Power of Man." I have struggled with alcohol and drugs over the years and just recently made a decision to stop and give my life to God through Jesus Christ. This has been the best decision I have ever made. Throughout the process I honestly needed a book that was going to make me shake my head and say "what the heck have you been doing"? I have found it in this book. I have been far from a man to my wife and three boys. I always knew what I wanted to be like, but for some unknown reason I just never got there. "The Power of Man" is an unbelievable blue print for me on how to live my life and raise my boys to become true Men. Thank You! I truly look forward to reading "Better Dads, Stronger Sons." These books are what American men need right now and should be requires in some shape or form. Thanks Again!
B Hello Rick,
I am a 22 year old Christian man from Ca. I just finished reading your book "The Power of a Man" and it definitely has changed my life. There are several young men that I know that are looking for leadership and I've sent them your book. I just wanted to say that it is a relief that other men out there feel the same way that I do about the incredibly shrinking role that men seem to be having in their children's lives and in society today. Even through high school I couldn't believe how many girls didn't respect themselves and I prayed so much that something would change in their lives so that they would turn away from sexual promiscuity. Since becoming a Christian my sophomore year in high school I've realized my importance but I could never really put it together but after reading your book I really have a new grasp on what it means to be a man and to lead the way God has created me to lead. Thank you very much, I truly believe that I am a better man because of your book and I can't wait to share my knowledge and put into practice the things that I've learned. God Bless!

The Power of a Man
What does a real man look like? How does he live his life? Many men have become confused by what real manhood looks like, whether from society's misguided messages or because of the poor role model choices available. This is a book of hope for all the men in our lives, and the author speaks from experience. Coming from a fatherless home, Johnson details how he was able to overcome his own misinterpretations of masculinity and his troubled upbringing. He says, "We men need to understand the gift of influence that God has given us so we treat it responsibly and break the generational sins, curses and cycles that devastate the lineage of many men's families." The Power of a Man is a great resource for all the men in our lives.
