Greetings!

When I heard last January that my cousin Hillary was diagnosed with breast cancer, I didn't know what to do. Someone was already organizing meals, and others were pitching in to help her three young children. So I brought over a "Life is Good" hat, along with the beautiful book, "A Mom of Many Hats," hoping it would help somehow.

I had no idea that out of that one gift would grow a beautiful hat shower created by her two girls, and out of that, a short film that not only was a positive memory for Hillary and her family, but also a great way to promote the wonderful mission behind this book.

I realized that though a cancer diagnosis is horrible, there are people out there, like author Debbie Fink, making a difference in the world, one book at a time.

Very recently, two of my dear clients passed away. Though their families are still grieving, the one thing both of these individuals did so well was to share their stories on video. Their loved ones have personally told me how much it has meant to have this video in their lives, especially now.

In light of these recent events, I've decided to enable families to record their stories as easy and as inexpensive as possible. So while I will always create video documentaries, I now also offer simple story packages for $700. If you or someone you know has been wanting to record your memories, please get in touch. It is truly one of the best things you can do to make a difference in the lives of the people you love.

Warmly,

  Debbie

The Magic of a Hat Shower

"A Mom of Many Hats" is a book about how the children of a parent diagnosed with breast cancer throw a special hat shower to help their Mom and themselves feel better. My cousin Hillary's children decided to turn "art" into "life" and created a beautiful and touching event for their Mom. We were lucky enough to get it all on camera, and hope you enjoy watching the results of their efforts.

Keep the Party Going with Video

Events are wonderful ways to gather people together. Filming your events is an even better way to ensure you remember the event itself and the people who were there. But how do you best take advantage of the opportunity and still enjoy the party?
