Filming an event is a great thing to do for an organization, yet many people shy away from doing so because they're not quite sure the best way to do it, or even how to do it. But filming an event can have huge benefits.
Last January, when my cousin was diagnosed with breast cancer, I didn't know what I could do to help. But I decided to give her the book, "A Mom of Many Hats," which helps kids deal with their Mom's cancer in a positive way. Out of that grew a beautiful hat shower created by her two girls, which we realized would be a fantastic event to film.
The resulting heartfelt mini-documentary has not only been a special keepsake for my cousin, but it has also been a great way to get the message out about this important mission-driven book. To inspire you further, today I'm sharing my top tips for extending the life of your events using video.
Speaking of helping others get their message out in a big way, I'm excited to announce my new packages focused on organizations with limited budgets. (A stunning HD video starts at just $600.) Please call me for the details - I'm so excited to help more small businesses and non-profits get their stories out into the world.
Enjoy the upcoming fall weather!
Warmly,
