Business Newsletter Masthead

August
2012
Greetings!

I hope you are having a busy and productive summer, with some downtime in between to relax.

I've been getting so many calls lately from small businesses and nonprofits, all wanting to do video. But they've all been surprised by one thing - the cost! In today's article, I break down the pricing question and hopefully help you better understand how to budget for a video that truly works for your company.

If you've still got questions, I'll be glad to answer them in-person on August 30th at the upcoming 2012 Power Conference - Women Doing Business! in Rockville, MD, where I'll be speaking at 3pm on "Everybody Has a Story: Using Video Online to Tell Yours."

And speaking of women coming together and doing great things, I recently had the pleasure of helping to launch a new business that I truly believe in, Her Corner, with one of my new small business video packages. Watch her introductory video in today's clip.

I hope however you are using video for your business, that it's doing great things for your success!

Warmly,

  Debbie

Video for Her Corner, LLC
I feel fortunate to be one of the founding members of the amazing women entrepreneurs group, Her Corner, that started as a neighborhood dinner by one woman and is now poised for international growth. When Frederique Irwin learned that 88% of women-owned businesses don't make over $100,000, she knew this was a number she had to change. I was thrilled to help her create this video that tells the story of her business.

DMB Pictures did an incredible job of creating something that captures the essence of what I'm trying to communicate, the humor and lightness as well as just the genuine tone that we're here to help. I absolutely LOVE it! You all are amazing and I can't thank you enough!!!
