Greetings!
 | Our family at the beach, June 2012
|
I hope your summer has been a great one, filled with lots of opportunities to spend time with family and friends.
I felt lucky to have had the chance to spend a week at the beach this summer celebrating my in-law's 50th wedding anniversary & my father-in-law's 75th birthday.
Of course, I wanted to celebrate these milestones with a video. But it almost didn't happen. See how not taking "no" for an answer can be a good thing, in today's article. I'm also sharing a short clip from the video that I know many people will relate to.
We've had a few of our own milestones this summer, with my older son's first time at sleepaway camp (he loved it!) and my younger son starting kindergarten in a few weeks. I hope whatever milestones you're celebrating, that you're making sure to capture them on video.
Enjoy these last few weeks of summer!
Warmly,
Debbie Brodsky DMB Pictures, LLC P.S. I love hearing from you. Send me an email anytime. |

First-Time Parents
I enjoyed so many of the stories my in-laws shared in their family video, but I think the one I enjoyed the most was hearing them recount their own experiences as first-time parents. I think the universal feeling of astonishment and terror at the thought of bringing home a newborn baby from the hospital without a manual will ring true for many in this short clip.
