Business Newsletter Masthead

Greetings!

Earlier this week, I had the good fortune to attend Tory Johnson's Spark & Hustle Tour stop in the DC area. It was a packed day of inspiring speakers and brilliant ideas for small business owners and entrepreneurs.

One of my biggest takeaways from the day, shared by lead branding expert Sam Horn was to provide a "Wow!" experience for your current and future customers that will set you apart from the crowd.

So I'm excited to share my latest tip, as I think it will not only make your customers say "Wow," but will also help you generate buzz, be seen as a valuable resource, and perhaps even earn publicity.

The idea: use video to record a live event of yourself or an expert sharing valuable information with your target audience. Today's article and clip will show how you can easily do this and use it to your advantage - even if you hate public speaking! I can't wait to hear how it works for your organization!

To your success!

  Debbie

Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union is a local bank and credit union that is always trying innovative ways to make themselves more well-known. They decided to start offering live workshops to two of their target markets - small business owners and consumers. The idea was to bring them into the bank and show themselves as a valuable resource. A few months ago, they took it a step further and hired us to start recording these seminars, hosting them on-line and putting links in their newsletter to further their exposure. So far, the project has been a success. Here is a clip from their latest seminar on Auto Buying for consumers.

Raving Fan

I recently had the pleasure to work with DMB Pictures on a project where they videotaped one of the financial seminars at our credit union.  Debbie was a consummate professional, made the entire project very simple from start to finish and even suggested and found some great music for the beginning of the video.

Debbie worked with us on our budget constraints and was great about communicating all aspects of the project. When you find a good vendor like DMB Pictures, it makes your life much easier.
