Greetings!

2012 New Year AheadHappy New Year!

It seems everything you read this time of year has to do with resolutions, goals or getting organized. With this new year ahead, I'd like to offer an idea with a slightly different twist.

That is - the idea of saving time. Whether its to get more done or preserve your energy, I bet most of us can agree that when we find things that save us time, they are a huge bonus. Especially those things we seem to say or do over and over again, day in and out.

What if a simple video could give you back hours in your life? This month's article is all about how you can use video, in your business and at home, to help you save time, money and energy. And to see this concept in action, this month's video clip shares the perfect example of a dentist who did just that.

I hope you find yourself energized by the possibilities...

Warmly,

In every business, there are things that are often repeated. If you are a service provider, you explain repeatedly how your services work to new customers. If you train new employees, you have to demonstrate how to do something multiple times a year. Whatever the situation, most organizations could benefit from a few simple videos of the things they repeatedly do or say.

Dr. Mintz specializes in sleep disorders and TMJ. He was finding that the time he was taking each day to explain the same things to his new patients (the majority of his practice) was exhausting him. So we created a 7-minute introductory video that he now shows his patients before he meets with them. Watch this short introductory clip to see how he did it.

I found that I was saying the same speech to my patients over and over again, like a broken record. My office manager suggested the idea of creating that "broken record" with the help of professionals. Having my patients watch this DVD prior to their appointments gives them a great introduction to my practice and educates them and let's them know what to expect.

I knew the DVD would make me more time efficient. But even more than that, it has saved my voice and restored my enthusiasm for what I do. The DMB Pictures team also gave a more polished, high tech aura to my practice that gives patients something to tell their friends and associates, and sets my practice apart from the competition.

ArticleGenius Ways To Use Video That Save Time

A few months ago, I went to an ear, nose and throat doctor after an unresolved virus had my ears so clogged I could barely hear. A technician put me in a tiny, soundproof room, gave me little instruction other than to push a button when I heard a noise, and then shut the door tight.   Read more...
