Greetings!

Finishing the Parks Half-Marathon
With a friend after finishing the Parks Half-Marathon

I just finished a 12-week coaching program that enabled me to complete my first half-marathon this past Sunday. My coaches helped me with my pacing, nutrition, and taught me how not to get blisters.

Whether we're trying to run a race, change a bad habit, or reach a goal, we can all benefit from the wisdom and support of a great coach.  Which is why I'm thrilled to feature my latest small business video this month of personal and professional coach Anne Wotring

Anne shared with me the book, Free Range Kids, which has so changed my way of viewing the world that I had to write an article about it. It also shows how those stories from our elder relatives can illuminate some fascinating perspective in this crazy world we live in.

Hope you're getting out and enjoying this beautiful September weather!

Warmly,

  Debbie

When you own a small business, it's hard to be out networking and talking to people all the time while still actually working IN your business. With a small business web video, people get the chance to feel like they know you a little bit before you've even met them.

Raving Fan

I loved working with Debbie! She exudes professionality, and at the same time, she is warm, sensitive and approachable. The videos she made of me reflect this.

I am told by my social media expert that website videos are the hottest way to get your business out into the world. I am so pleased to now have a professional video blog component to my website, thanks to DMB Pictures.

ArticleBethesda House Flattened During Recent Quake

This might as well have been the headline of my neighbor's email sent last month during our DC area earthquake. I was on vacation near Virginia Beach when I got her panicked note. The fact that I couldn't read her sarcasm points to the fact that...   Read more...
