GREAT NEWS

The best solar differential controller just got even better!
  DeltaSOLResol loves to innovate!

The DeltaSol BS series controller - most intelligent solar controller on the market now is available with new programming and hardware.  That amazing small unit with new CSA and UL approval now is covering more than 10 applications in closed loop and drain back systems.

New futures in overlook:

  1. Variable speed, target delta T controlled outputs of the solar pump
  2. Drain back with time delay and speed controlled buster function
  3. Single or 2-pump booster/primary combination drain back control
  4. Enhanced multi-load priority switching
  5. Legionella prevention control of the solar tank backup heating
  6. Collector temperature based heat dump function
  7. Optimized vacation mode function
  8. Programmable time control of the vacuum tube collector function
  9. Energy-saving switch-mode power supply for low power consumption

Five different models of DeltaSol BS series controller are now available.

The topic of variable speed circulation in the solar thermal controls is remaining a mystery for many installers and designers of solar thermal systems.  Hey no blame here - that is a pretty new technology - solar heating. Even variable speed circulation control in hydronic heating is remaining unexplored for many professionals.

Let's tackle that gap and get up to speed with the rest of the solar world.

Pre-packeged Systems

New Survey by SWE Magazine
Packaged_SystemsAll on one pallet. Pre-packaged systems are an important element of the international solar thermal market -and their significanceis increasing constantly.

The question has probably been asked ever since pumped solar thermal systems first became available. Should the manufacturers sell their systems as pre-packaged sets, with all the important components such as collectors, storage tank, pump, controller, safety fittings and expansion vessel tied into a single bundle, or would it be better to sell the components separately and to leave configuration of the individual system to the installation engineer?
