As the holidays approach, the Board of Directors, staff and student officers would like to express appreciation to all DECA Advisors for the gift that you give our members every day - the dedication to making your students' education the most comprehensive learning experience possible. We wish you and your family a joyous holiday season.

Membership Campaign Deadline Is Today!

 

Don't forget to submit your membership today to be eligible to earn rewards and recognition in DECA's all new Membership Campaign. No additional reporting is necessary, but you must submit your members.

Emerging Leader Honor Award Deadline: February 1, 2012 

 

Show your appreciation to graduating seniors with the DECA Emerging Leader Honor Award. This award provides recognition of DECA members studying marketing, finance, hospitality and management for being academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders through participation in DECA. Deadline for applications and the $5 fee is February 1, 2012.

Scholarship Information:

Many of DECA's corporate partners offer scholarships to DECA members who are employed with their company (i.e. Finish Line, Kmart, Men's Wearhouse,  Publix Supermarkets, Safeway, Sears, TJMaxx/Marshalls) and/or have a specific interest in a particular field (Marriott, NAPA, Don Debolt). Please make sure you encourage your students to apply and work on their applications over the holidays that they meet the criteria. The deadline for submission is January 20, 2012 and details can be found at www.deca.org/scholarships.
