Announcing The Division of
Career Development and Transition's Annual Election
Our division is conducting its annual
election again this year via our website www.dcdt.org. All of DCDT members in good
standing are eligible to vote. All members who have provided CEC with an email
address will receive an invitation to vote through their email
address. The email will contain directions on voting, current user name
and password. If you choose, you may go directly to our website and click
on the DCDT's 2010 Slate of Candidates link. You will be taken to the member's
only section, with instructions to enter your user name and password.
Your user name is your last name, first initial, and your password is your CEC
number unless you have updated the website database.
If you need assistance gaining
access to the member's only section to vote contact our webmaster at
heidenj@cudahy.k12.wi.us for assistance. While you are in the member's
only
section, take a moment to update your profile for us. Another method
for updating your membership email is to call
CEC's Constituent Services Center toll free at (888) 232-7733.
Representatives
are available to take calls Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5:00 pm
Eastern
Time, or you can e-mail service@cec.sped.org.
Help us hold down election costs.
Conducting the election through the web furnishes a great cost savings to our
organization. In this way we avoid the managerial costs of the election
through CEC, as well as any additional postage costs. If CEC does not
have your email address, we encourage you to provide it following the
directions above or contact the webmaster. Neither CEC nor DCDT will
release your email address to any vendors or outside organization. It is
used solely for organizational communication purposes.
Please cast your vote. The
election site is open between the dates of February 15th through March
1st. At the conclusion of the election, all votes will be
tabulated and reported by Dr. Sherrilyn Fisher, Immediate Past
President to
CEC. We appreciate your participation!
