Hi,
Almost two months down in our "sprint" to move to Singapore in June! Right now we have 20 daily prayer warriors--we're trusting God for 50. Can you join us?
Progress Updates

As of today 79% of our monthly financial needs is coming in or pledged. Our biggest need now is to meet more people who might share a heart for raising up leaders in Asia. One strategy that has worked well is for us to speak to a Home group or Sunday School class. Many times people are not aware of the exciting things the Lord is doing in Asia, so they find our presentation enlightening and enjoyable, with a weird accent thrown in! J Do you know of any opportunities for us to speak to a group? Will you ask your group leader on our behalf? I'm willing to travel any distance (in the US) to share the vision we have been called to!

On March 9th I (Craig) will be the main Sunday morning speaker for the Missions Conference at our church (Scofield Memorial Church). In addition we will be sharing in small groups throughout the church that weekend. Please pray for me as I prepare this biblical challenge for missions. The audience is very diverse in terms of age and I want to clearly present the challenge the Lord has for each person there.

Addie 08

Here is our 11-year-old, Addie. We are very proud of her as she grows up right before our eyes. She is wired to use both sides of her brain--she enjoys the arts: piano, painting, and percussion. She was admitted to an art program on the strength of her portfolio. But she also excels at Math and Science. Oh, and she is also the President of her school's Honor Society. Next year holds a lot of new challenges for Addie.

South Korea mapDid you know that 11 of the world's 12 largest churches are in South Korea? This includes the world's largest congregation, the Yoido Full Gospel Church, with a staggering 830,000 members. South Korea is also the second largest missionary sending country after the USA, even though their population is less than 1/6 that of the US. Many Korean missionaries are going to countries in the 10/40 window where Westerners are not welcome. This is something to thank God for, particularly when you realize that it took almost two hundred years of frustrated missionary work before Christianity took root in Korean soil. (For more information, see the Wikipedia article Christianity in Korea.)

A Korean friend told me the biggest prayer request of Korean Christians is to send more missionaries to the world. That is an answer to the prayer Jesus told us to pray in Matt 9:38. More than 18,000 Korean missionaries have already been sent. But they have a dream to send 100,000! The largest non-Singaporean group of students at East Asia School of Theology (EAST) are Korean. We will be teaching and equipping these eager students and multiplying our impact through them.

Think of the folk who supported missionaries to Korea for almost 200 years before seeing significant fruit. Their sacrifice has paid off, and now we have the chance to send Korean missionaries to the world.

Please contact us if you can pray daily, or know of an opportunity for us to speak to a group.

With Gratitude,Craig  Brigitte
