January 18, 2012
Members of the Howell Senior Center are in for some great meals over the course of the next year. Our Senior Center Coordinator, Cathy Skidmore is planning "Lunch Around the World" and you don't have to take a plane, train or even a bus to enjoy lunch as a group. Seniors will have a chance to tingle your taste buds and fill your passport with stamps from Japan, Ireland, Italy, Asia, Mexico and many more places right here in Livingston county once a month. Lunch at the Blue Fin, Stouts Irish Pub, La Marsa Mediterranean, Los Tres Amigos and the Tai Cafe are just some of the places we'll visit. These once a month lunch excursions will leave the Howell Senior Center at 11:30 a.m. beginning February 23rd. We hope you'll join us for some delicious food and beverages from far off lands. To make it easy, there is no charge to join the "Lunch Around the World" bunch, but you'll need to pay for lunch on your own.

P.S. If you like what you see, please take a minute to to your friends, family, and other parks and recreation enthusiasts and encourage them to subscribe by joining our mailing list! News and information from the Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority will be forwarded to you each and every Wednesday.
