January 11, 2012
As we begin to pull together all of the information and class descriptions for our spring/summer program guide, we are in search of a number of instructors to help us achieve our goals. If you have special talents and want to earn a few extra dollars by sharing those talents with others, we want to hear from you.
Prime on our "want" list though, is summer preschool/young children teachers to instruct a preschool playgroup from June to August. The instructor would plan educational activities, play time as well as arts and crafts.
We are open to all ideas for summer fun with our preschool age children. Anyone interested in instructing should contact me at 517-546-0693 ext. 7702 or at dmikula@howellrecreation.org.

P.S. If you like what you see, please take a minute to to your friends, family, and other parks and recreation enthusiasts and encourage them to subscribe by joining our mailing list! News and information from the Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority will be forwarded to you each and every Wednesday.

 | Planned Giving at the Howell Senior Center |
| | |
Did you know that over one half of Americans who pass away in a given year do so without an estate plan or will? Many of us make donations of time or funding to organizations that we value. Making decisions about how our funds will be managed when we are gone can be very beneficial to the people and organizations we care about in our lives and community. We hope that you consider the Howell Senior Center as one of those valuable organizations. There are many ways that you can consider and implement "Planned Giving " including:
- A specified dollar amount stated in a will or trust
- Tangible personal property
- Retirement or insurance plans
- Memorial Gifts
If you have named the Howell Senior Center in your will or estate plan, or if you are planning to, we hope you will share this information with us. Please contact Deborah E. Mikula, Director at dmikula@howellrecreation.org or 517-546-0693 ext. 7702 if you have any questions about planned giving or would like to name the Howell Senior Center as a recipient of your generosity. |
