Sponsor a Holiday in the Park Tree |
| | |

Sponsoring a tree for Holiday in the Park can be a wonderful way to create great memories that will last a life-time with friends and family. Decorating a tree for the holidays is not something you want to miss out on this year. This is a great opportunity to support community recreation, advertise your business or extend holiday wishes to your friends and neighbors. We are encouraging local families, businesses, church groups, services organizations, and anyone else who is looking forward to the holidays to help us create an enchanting setting in Howell City Park.
We have six foot trees available for $40. For your donation, we'll provide the tree, the electricity, and a sign by your tree. You provide the LED lights, an extension cord, and all the decorations. Decorating will take place between 9am on Saturday, November 26th through 12pm on December 2nd.
Come join us on Friday, December 2nd from 6:30-8:30pm for the Holiday in the Park Opening Ceremonies. The evening will begin with a grand entrance from Santa at 7:00pm to light the trees and Santa will also be available for professional photographs with the kids (additional cost). Carolers will be singing, the bonfire will be lit, horse drawn carriage rides will be available (additional cost of $5/person), and lots of hot chocolate and cookies will be served
To reserve your tree, contact the Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority at 517-546-0693 or visit our website at www.howellrecreation.org.

Snowmobiling provides great opportunities for family recreation during the winter months. You MUST attend both classes to receive certificate, which is required to ride snowmobiles off parent's private property. Adults are welcome to attend.
