It is that time of year when girls in grades 1st though 6th need to get signed up for Basketball through the Howell Area Parks & Recreation. We have over 100 girls participating in our 8 week league that begins mid-October and runs through the mid-December. Don't forget - after October 1st there is a $10 late fee that will be added to registrations. Sign your daughter up today. You'll be glad you did.
And don't forget your sons too - Basketball leagues for boys begin in January, but it's never too early to get them signed up.
P.S. If you like what you see, please take a minute to to your friends, family, and other parks and recreation enthusiasts and encourage them to subscribe by joining our mailing list! Flick N' Float |
 |

|
On Friday, October 14th come relax and watch a movie at the Howell Aquatic Center! This Flick N' Float is from 7:00pm-9:00pm, showing "Zookeeper" a story about Griffin a single guy who loves his job at the Franklin Park Zoo. He has a special bond with the animals, yet he can't help but feel lonely each night when he returns to an empty house. Griffin eventually decides that a more prestigious job may be the key to finding a new girlfriend. But when word gets out to the animals that Griffin will soon be leaving, they realize the only way to keep him around is to reveal they have the gift of the gab. Perhaps with a little dating advice from his friends in the animal kingdom, this lonely zookeeper will manage to meet the girl of his dreams without losing the job he loves. "Zookeeper" is rated PG.
The cost is only $4 each. Join us for this great twist on movie night where you float in inner tubes while watching this great new family movie. Call 517-540-8355 for details.
