Visionary leadership guides student success at Nova Scotia board

When Superintendent Carole Olsen came to the Halifax Regional School Board in 2002, she carried with her the same commitment to every child that began in her classroom and has informed her views of education ever since. Guided by the vision, Every student can learn, Every school can improve, Superintendent Olsen and her team of dedicated colleagues soon began the hard work of transforming a school system.

Together, they would establish a dynamic learning culture that would allow the board and each of its 137 schools to share a firm belief in individual student achievement and school improvement.
