Assessment for Learning Newsletter, April 2009 www.etscanada.ca
Assessment for learning is a key component of Nova Scotia's South Shore Regional School Board's educational vision.  Although the board has been extremely successful in weaving assessment for learning practices into daily teaching and assessment activities, it also recognizes that its assessment journey must be ongoing. The board continues to evaluate current research and to observe best practice in order to ensure that assessment for learning is framed in a context that is relevant and meaningful for administrators, teachers, students and parents.
