Meredith, that is a great question. MDS stands for Multi Displacement System. Chrysler's MDS seamlessly alternates between smooth, high-fuel-economy four-cylinder mode when less power is needed, and V-8 mode when more power from the 5.7L HEMI engine is in demand. This optimizes fuel economy when V-8 power is not required, without sacrificing vehicle performance or capability. Chrysler is the first company to offer MDS in a truck and SUV including the Jeep Grand Cherokee. I hope I answered your question. Thanks Meredith!

Greetings!
Two weeks ago Michael Tressler, a Sales Specialist at the Dodge store passed away suddenly. His death shocked all of us at David Dodge and in the David organization. Michael came on board with us just after we opened our doors in July of 2005. He quickly excelled at his position earning top honors and awards within the David organization as well as on the national level with Chrysler Corporation. He truly was an exemplary employee but most of all he was family. And with David Dodge's 3rd year anniversary being celebrated later this month I can only imagine that many of our thoughts will be turned to the absence of this young man and how much he added to the character of the dealership. I would like to dedicate this issue in remembrance of Michael. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends, family, and most importantly his beloved son Lucas. You will be missed buddy!

Chuck Briggs Joins David Team at Philly Store
Chuck Briggs joined the David Team this past May as the Service Director of David Chrysler Jeep Suzuki at the Philadelphia Airport Auto Mall. Briggs has been with the Chrysler Corporation since 1979. He began in the automotive service department in 1981 as a Service Manager at a Chrysler Plymouth Dealership in Coastal Maine. There he refined his skills for 17 years before moving on to another award winning dealer group in the Northeast. Briggs' extensive resume is a welcomed addition to our organization.
Chuck graduated from the University of New Hampshire and has a degree in Botany. When he is not working, he enjoys time with his family, fishing, woodworking and gardening. He resides in Washington Township, NJ with his wife Patricia and two young children Jonathan and Allexis.
