2012 Annual Meeting
Top ranked topics for future Town Halls: 
Immigration and PreK-12 Education


Members and friends of the Arizona Town Hall gathered together on June 8th to celebrate our 50th Anniversary, to hear from speakers on future Town Hall topics, and to participate in panel discussions to rank the potential future topics.  The top ranked topics were Immigration and PreK-12 Education.

Attendees heard from Jaime Molera on the topic of PreK-12 Education, Bill Montgomery on Immigration and Alan Maguire on Arizona's Economy.

A special presentation celebrating five decades of bringing Arizona together was presented by Shirley Agnos, George Britton, David Snider, Hank Peck, Scott Rhodes and Tara Jackson.

Tara Jackson also made an announcement that, inspired by the 100th Town Hall on Civic Engagement, Blue Cross Blue Shield will be donating $25,000 to be used towards scholarships for Arizonans to attend future Town Halls.

Community Outreach Programs to discuss the recommendations from the 100th Town Hall on Civic Engagement are being scheduled throughout the state beginning in mid-August.  If you are interested in a program on this topic, contact the Town Hall office. Check our website for details.
