Yuma hosted the first of many statewide Community Outreach Programs on improving Arizona's economy. The July 27th program was held in conjunction with Greater Yuma Economic Development Corporation

It's Arizona's Moment.  It's Up to Me.
This year's Fall Luncheon will be held at the Wyndham Hotel in downtown Phoenix.  It is part of "A Day of Civic Action," a collaboration with four other organizations:  Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine, Arizona Foundation for Women, Center for the Future of Arizona, and O'Connor House. 
  
The 2010 Shirley Agnos Legacy Award Recipient is Don Shropshire, President Emeritus of Tucson Medical Center and a former Board Chair of Arizona Town Hall.
 
The featured speaker will be Frances Hesselbein, Chairman of the Board of Governors, Leader to Leader Institute, and Founder of The Peter F. Drucker Foundation.

Arizona's Government: The Next 100 Years 
 
Just one week after the general election, participants of the 97th Arizona Town Hall will discuss how to improve Arizona's systems of government.
 
The 97th Town Hall will take place from November 7-10 at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.  If you are interested in attending or sponsoring this Town Hall, contact the Town Hall office.

"A Community Conversation on Immigration"
  
  • When:   August 19, 2010 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
  • Where:  Rio Salado Conference Center, 2323 West 14th Street, Tempe 
  • Format: Three rounds of topics on immigration will be introduced and discussed throughout the evening.  For each round participants will be seated at a table and talk for 20-30 minutes.  After each round participants will then move to a new table with new conversational partners.  Each round will have different introductions and questions that take us from the past, to the present, to the future.  At each table there will be unbiased, factual information about immigration.
