Participate in Love Your Kids Day
One of the recommendations of the 90th Arizona Town Hall on Health Care was to eliminate the so-called "gag rule" that inhibited enrolling eligible children in the KidsCare health insurance program. The legislature repealed the prohibition in June 2007, but there are still about 130,000 children in Arizona who qualify for KidsCare who are not enrolled.
This Thursday, February 14, is Love Your Kids Day, the first-ever statewide KidsCare enrollment event. It is designed to raise awareness of the availability of low-cost health insurance to many of Arizona's working families, and to help qualifying families fill out and submit applications where possible.

Many organizations have already signed on to make this day possible, and we encourage Arizona Town Hall members to also become involved.
