Preparations Underway for Fall Town Hall on Land Use
Arizona State University, under the guidance of Professor Pat Gober, is making final edits to a comprehensive background report that will serve as an invaluable resource on land use to participants of the 91st Arizona Town Hall, state leaders and land use planners.
The 91st Arizona Town Hall at the Grand Canyon from October 28-31 will feature speakers Bruce Babbitt, who served as Secretary of the Interior from 1993-2001 and as Arizona's governor from 1978-1987, and Arthur "Chris" Nelson, an expert on urban affairs and planning. Governor Napolitano also plans to address the Town Hall by video.
The Town Hall continues to seek event sponsors, who will be recognized at the Town Hall, in printed materials, and on our web site. Please contact Tara Jackson at tarajackson@aztownhall.org or Sharon Flanagan-Hyde at sharonfh@aztownhall.org to talk about sponsorship opportunities. |
