Greetings from Olsson Associates
The leaves are changing in our neck of the woods, and that means our staff members are hard at work to wrap up outdoor tasks on our clients' projects before the first cold snap hits us. One interesting project we're working on in Springfield is a solution to address a challenge with the city's sanitary sewer system, which is experiencing the problem of infiltration and inflow (I/I). I/I is where excess groundwater and stormwater flows into sanitary sewer system pipes. Read more below.
We're also pleased to inform our clients that, because of the tremendous growth in the capabilities of GIS software, we have added a full-time GIS professional, Avery Oltmans, to coordinate and manage all of Olsson's continuously expanding GIS endeavors. Olsson has offered GIS services for over 15 years, and Avery's skills will provide our clients with the focused and specialized GIS services that our clients have asked for. Avery is great at what he does, and we couldn't be more pleased to have him on board. As always, I welcome your thoughts and questions. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
