Greetings from Olsson Associates
 What evokes memories of summer better than a trip to the Nebraska State Fair? Many of our clients (and plenty of Olsson staff members) will soon be enjoying various fried items on a stick while at this year's fair in Grand Island. New to the State Fair this year is a new Sky Tram that Olsson helped construct, and we've included details of our involvement in this project in the article below. We're also very excited to tell you about our work for industrial development sites in Iowa. This work has revitalized our commitment to our clients to assist them with projects from before ground is broken and all the way through to the opening ribbon-cutting ceremony. Finally, we've undertaken an expansion within our Structural team, which has transformed to a more regional effort to better serve our clients' diverse structural needs.

Olsson Oversees Construction of New Sky Tram at Nebraska State Fair
Nebraska State Fair attendees will have a new, more tranquil option to get from one end of the fairgrounds to the other this year: a new Sky Tram is scheduled to be up and running by the time the fair gates open, and Olsson had a significant role in providing a solid foundation for this new fair feature. Steve Hancock provided field services for this project and completed materials testing for the underlying soils, along with sampling concrete for compressive strength for foundation placements.

Olsson Structural Team Expands, Offers Full-Service Structural Expertise
